My Contacts (Mine Kontakter in Norway) is a mobile app and service that keeps your contact list safe and secure. It is a core part of Telenor’s global digital service offering, experiencing strong growth and international rollout. Currently it has over 1 million active users. The My Contacts team is a small and dedicated team that is part of the Storage and Security Services team in Telenor Digital, that also includes Capture (Min Sky).
We are seeking a Product Manager / Product Manager to lead the development of the My Contacts product and team, to further improve the user experience and value proposition of the service, and evolve the product and strategy as relevant to take a strong contact management position in the market.
The position will work across Telenor’s business units, in close co-operation with other employees in Telenor Group and the various business units. The right candidate can demonstrate strong track record within product development/management, and has deep understanding of mobile Internet services and digital economics. You enjoy working like an entrepreneur in a small team.

Job description
- Manage the entire product life cycle from strategy to implementation
- Develop and maintain the product requirements and roadmap for My Contacts
- Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of My Contacts
- Integrate usability studies, customer feedback and market requirements into product requirements and prioritizations
- Manage internal and external resources to ensure on-time quality deliverables
- Understand Telenor’s strategic and competitive position, and use this to develop and keep the value proposition for My Contacts updated
- Lead a small and dedicated team
- Be the product champion and ambassador, internally and externally, for My Contacts
Qualifications
- Product management/development experience with a product with international customer base; experience with addressing different audiences and markets, segments and cultural differences
- Strong technical understanding of mobile and service development
- Bachelor degree within a relevant field preferred
- Strong English both written and spoken. Norwegian is not required
- People management experience is a plus
- Experience with agile product development and its principles

- It is vital that you can work effectively and have experience with cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams
- Passion for defining and creating products users will love to use
- Entrepreneurial attitude
- You must have excellent project management and problem solving skills and must understand both the commercial and the technical implications of your arguments and strategies; we do product decisions by numbers, so you need to be analytical and also like working this way
- You have a strong interest for and knowledge of technology, mobile and internet services
