Description about project
UPP (Unmanned Process Platforms) early phase studies, mainly Krafla and Peon. In addition some assessments regarding similar studies.
Responsibilities:
Piping & layout:
- Make/update existing UPP PDMS model based on updated MEL
- If possible, update PDMS model Krafla with symbol library
- Make/update GA drawings/plot plan
- Make/update EDF calculations
- Support to material handling philosophy (SOV/crane selection) in collaboration with Krafla Operations
- Support to the Estimation discipline with regard to bulk estimates
- Support to the Process discipline in order to establish line list
- Participate in HAZIDs and Design reviews
- Identify risks/Support risk update
- Participate in weekly project meetings
- Make report for Peon/Update of DG1 report for Krafla
- Perform early assessment for Piping& Layout in other similar studies where UPP is a possible concept
Competence
A Piping & Layout engineer with long experience within engineering and especially early phase studies and with PDMS (mandatory) expertise, is requested. The candidate has to be able to establish a PDMS model including update of an existing model. In addition the candidate has to be able to deliver on listed tasks above.
