Our client is a large Oil and Gas E&P company looking to strengthening their team for development of Petrel Plugins with two Software Developers
The Petrel Plugin Developer team develops plugins to the Petrel E&P software platform from Schlumberger to support the Exploration and R&T business areas. The team consists of 3 experienced developers today, but will now be strengthened with two more developers to address increasing work load on the team.
Work Description:
- Develop software as Petrel plugins. This includes both project work and minor development tasks
- Maintain developed plugins in production
- Interact with users to understand their business needs
Requirements:
- Good understanding of object-oriented design
- Experience with .Net and C#
- Experience with the Ocean API is a plus
- Strong collaboration skills, structured, well organised and service minded team player
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with end users and explain problems and solutions in a non-technical way
- Be willing to develop and share expertise
- Fluency in English
