For our client we are now seeking Product Responsible Engineer:

Wärtsilä Gas Solutions is a global business line within the Marine Solutions division. The business line turnover is approximately EUR 320 millions, with people located in many locations such as Norway, Poland, UK, France, Finland and China. The business unit has end-to-end responsibility from Sales through to commissioning of completed systems. There are currently six market segment oriented business units within the Wärtsilä Gas Solutions business line.
Wärtsilä Gas Solutions offers systems and solutions related a number of oil and gas segments. The scope includes marine LNG and LPG cargo systems, fule gas systems for marine vessels,onshore gas terminals, biogas systems, flare gas ignition, oil separations and tank control systems to mention some.
Position description:
The person will be involved in product development for small scale LNG production plants, with special focus on standardization and industrialization. The main activity area will be for the Mixed Refrigerant (MR) technology adapted to small gas sources such as biogas. Standardisation of this product is vital in order to save cost and be competitive in the market place. As product engineer, the main responsibility will be to have a complete technical overview of the product.
The person will be part of the team working with landbased liquefaction plants. This may also include design preparations for sales prosjects, as well as engineering and documentation for FEED studies. Moreover, the person will also follow relevant ongoing projects in the business unit.
Responsibilities:
- Complete technical overview of product
- Standasdisation of product
- Selection of sub-supplier and follow-up of deliveries
- Fabrication philosophy and follow-up of skid manufacturing
- Follow-up of installation, commissioning and start-up, including procedures
- Standasdisation of documentation, including procedures
- Follow ongoing projects for product delivery
Experience:
- The person should be experienced from delivery of skids/modules/refrigeration systems.
- Experience from process discipline
- Preferably also been involved in mechanical and E&A
- Commissioning and start-up of skids/plants
Education:
- Master Degree or equivalent in with focus on process engineering or refrigeration
Skills:
- Main background process, but preferably also some mechanical and E&A
- Practical experience from field work
- P&ID`s
- Process Calculations – including HYSIS
- PFD/H&M Balances
- Control philosophy
- Operating manuals
