Senior Embedded Software Developers for the Internet-of-Things
We are looking for experienced software architects, developers and programmers for the development of embedded software for the Internet-of-Things.
You will be able to work with full stacks of wireless and Internet protocols. You will have responsibility to evaluate and address security needs for wireless embedded systems targeted for the IoT. Examples of security needs are communication protocol privacy and secure over-the-air firmware upgrade. Implementation is in C on ARM Cortex CPUs.
The work will be done in cross-functional teams following agile methodologies. You will work together with Nordic R&D offices in Poland, Finland and the US, and with partners world-wide.
Qualifications:
M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications or similar, with several years of relevant experience.
- Good understanding of cryptography
- Proficiency in C
- Good English communication skills
- Experience in some of these areas:
- Embedded real-time systems
- Wireless protocols and applications
- ARM Cortex or similar micro-controllers
- AES, ECC, RSA on embedded systems
- Secure boot and firmware update
- IoT protocols like CoAP or MQTT
- Internet protocols
- RTOS
