We are located in Horten, but moving to new premises in the centre of Asker in January 2018. The development team consists of 18 developers, working closely with sales / marketing, product management, engineering, project delivery and services. We also participate actively in the international SESAR (Single European Sky ATM Research) project for the development and deployment of future ATM systems. The product InNOVA has a solid market position and is installed at more than 100 airports worldwide. Tower Systems is developing rapidly, and we are facing an exciting new phase of major expansion. Main work task:
- Active participation in system specification (including HMI) and architectural design of InNOVA
- Software development based on our Qt/C++/Linux platform, with strict requirements for robustness and quality
- Assistance with installation and test on site for customers worldwide
Required qualifications:
- Technical education on M.Sc./B.Sc. level
- Experience with object oriented software design and development
- Good communicational and teamwork skills
- Fluent English qualifications, written and spoken
Other desirable qualifications:
- Experience as software architect
- Ability to lead small software teams, including planning and progress reporting of tasks
- Ability to take initiative, work targeted and structured
- Knowledge of Services Oriented Architectures (SOA) and design methods
- System knowledge in ATC and/or communications
